Francesco Conti is a DJ and producer of electronic music who was born in Rome in the late seventies, he grew up in the radio station and rave scene in the Italian capital. He was moulded by the music that marked the end of the 80s and the early 90s, such as Acid House and Techno.
Throughout the years, he has reinterpreted these sounds and incorporated his unique and personal style. His journey began in 1992 when he collaborated with radio stations in Rome, the capital, and performed in prominent nightclubs.
During the summer of 2003, he moved to the Adriatic coast and pursued his DJ career. His breakthrough came in 2006 when he achieved recognition by emerging victorious in the "Equinox DJ competition" held in Riccione, Northern Italy, besting 16 Italian DJs.
This award opened the doors to Ibiza, where he participated in the island's essential events every year. Then about ten years ago he started several record collaborations, including from 2017 to the present with Jambalay Records.
He currently collaborates with many online radio stations including United Techno Familia, and YouMixRadio. In these almost thirty years of activity, he has played with world-famous DJs. These experiences have enriched him, given him new stimuli and made him love music increasingly, which he considers a universal language without borders or barriers.
Guest DJ Under B.
This episode's guest is DJ and producer Under B, an Italian DJ and producer hailing from the capital Rome. He has been a staple of the underground scene in Roma since the early nineties.
His passion and dedication to House Music and other electronic genres have allowed him to play at top events in the city. He has performed at clubs in the Italian metropolis at venues such as Room 26, Alibi, Qube, and DiscotecheRoma.
His production career kicked off again recently under the pseudonym Berlin and he has released tracks featuring experimental and underground sounds. He hopes to continue his journey in the Roman nightlife and broaden his releases in the coming year.
Francesco Conti returns with Episode 12 of his "Friends" series, delivering a two-hour electronic journey. The first hour, led by Francesco himself, explores intense Techno and Acid Techno tracks, featuring artists like Pilar Battistelli and Filterheadz, along with his own track, "Floor Six."
The second-hour transitions with DJ Under B spinning a mix of House, Disco House, and Nu-Disco. Listeners can groove to House and Nu-Disco anthems from legends like Riva Starr, Todd Terry, and Peggy Gou. This episode encapsulates the diverse spectrum of electronic dance, from pulsating Techno to feel-good House.
