Graham Gold has published the playlist for 'Esta La Musica' episode 451, Graham is a former DJ magazine Top 100 artist. Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station for the region and internationally.


Graham's weekly podcast was born out of his departure from London's Kiss 100 FM using the words tattooed on his arm, whilst on tour in the United States in the late nineties as the name of the show. Graham's global fame is a result of his London club night Peach and his once-a-week show on London's iconic Kiss 100 FM.


During his early career as a disc jockey, he held a ten-year club residency at Gullivers Club in London's Mayfair, performing six nights a week. His journey into the music scene started at 17 in the early 1970s, when his passion for Afrocentric music led him to team up with his close friend Duncan Uren. Together, they formed 'The Funky Road Show,' a mobile disco that quickly gained popularity in London's West End.

At the young age of 18, Graham was performing black music regularly at various nightclubs throughout the UK capital. By the early 1980s, he secured multiple residencies on pirate radio stations in the UK capital, featuring a mix of genres such as Reggae, Soul, Disco, and Jazz Funk in his collection.


Thanks to his frequent events and good reputation, he secured a position with the Radio London Soul Night Out team and started hosting a weekly soul show on London's Capital FM on Saturdays, leading to him being named 'Broadcaster of the Year' in 1985. While he was already a recognizable figure in London, it was during his time at Kiss 100 FM in London that he gained worldwide recognition.


He was recognised as the catalyst for the success of the station and lifted himself into the limelight with his entry into the DJ Magazine Top 100 maintaining 8 years in the Top 100. He has also sold over 700,000 albums for his various mixes and has amassed 6 BPI Certified Gold albums & 4 Silver.


With years of experience, he has traveled extensively around the world, showcasing his talent in 150 cities across more than 43 countries for renowned brands and festivals such as Glastonbury, Homelands, Gatecrasher, Gods Kitchen, Passion, Slinky, Impulz, Earthdance, W.E.M.F., Summadayze, and The Street Parade in Zurich. Graham continues to attract a large international audience and nurtures his passion for music by regularly performing at events in Asia and worldwide.


Graham's weekly program showcases top-notch House and Techno music, including exclusive promos from record labels and producers across various sub-genres such as Deep House, Progressive House, Melodic House and Techno, Tech House, Deep Tech, Organic House, and Techno. Despite his busy schedule, he continues to release music on several international labels. Just before embarking on his European tour this summer, he dropped his latest track 'Jazz Funk' on Martin Sharp's Jeepers Records.


Episode 451 of Esta La Musica by DJ Graham Gold presents a compelling blend of Tech House, House, and Progressive House, complemented by touches of Melodic House & Techno.
