Graham Gold has published the playlist for 'Esta La Musica' episode 455, Graham is a former DJ magazine Top 100 artist. Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station for the region and internationally.


Graham's weekly podcast was born out of his departure from London's Kiss 100 FM using the words tattooed on his arm, whilst on tour in the United States in the late nineties as the name of the show. Graham's global fame is a result of his London club night Peach and his once-a-week show on London's iconic Kiss 100 FM.


During his early career as a DJ, he held a ten-year residency at Gullivers Club in Mayfair, London, performing six nights a week. His journey in the music industry started at the age of 17 in the early 1970s when his passion for Afrocentric music led him to team up with his friend Duncan Uren. Together, they created 'The Funky Road Show', a popular mobile disco service that quickly gained recognition in London's West End.

At the young age of 18, Graham was performing black music regularly in various nightclubs throughout the U.K capital. By the early 80s, he secured multiple DJ residencies on pirate radio stations in the U.K capital, featuring a diverse range of genres such as Reggae, Soul, Disco, and Jazz Funk in his music collection.


As a result of his regular events and reputation, he earned a slot with the Radio London Soul Night Out crew and began a weekly Saturday night soul show on London's Capital FM, thus winning Broadcaster of the Year in 1985. Although he was well known in London it was his years at London's Kiss 100 FM that earned him international acclaim.


He was recognised as the catalyst for the success of the station and lifted himself into the limelight with his entry onto the DJ Magazine Top 100 maintaining 8 years in the Top 100. He has also sold over 700,000 albums for his various mixes and has amassed 6 BPI Certified Gold albums & 4 Silver.


With years of experience under his belt, he has traveled extensively around the world, showcasing his talent in 150 cities across more than 43 countries. His performances have graced major brands and festivals such as Glastonbury, Homelands, Gatecrasher, Gods Kitchen, Passion, Slinky, Impulz, Earthdance, W.E.M.F., Summadayze, and The Street Parade in Zurich. Graham continues to enjoy a strong international fan base and remains dedicated to his passion for music, regularly entertaining audiences at events in Asia and worldwide.


Graham's weekly program showcases top-notch House and Techno tracks, including promos directly from record labels and producers representing various sub-genres such as Deep House, Progressive House, Melodic House and Techno, Tech House, Deep Tech, Organic House, and Techno. Despite his busy schedule, he continues to release music on several international labels, with his most recent track 'Jazz Funk' on Martin Sharp's Jeepers Records dropping before his European tour this summer.
