After Hours host PatriZe has revealed guest DJ Unusual Soul and the playlist for the next show. Scientific Sound Asia, an established electronic music station, DJ agency, and event management company, continues to impact the music scene in Asia and internationally.

Each week, After Hours, showcases a variety of genres from Progressive House to Techno and other house music sub-genres, presenting some of the best-emerging DJs and producers worldwide. The show’s primary focus is on the underground sounds that lead the respective scenes.

PatriZe, who will host the first hour, hails from Belgium. At a young age, he acquired his first turntables and quickly developed a love for the harder sounds of Trance and Techno. Over time, his passion shifted towards the more melodic and intricate sounds of Progressive House.

After years of performing across the Belgian scene, PatriZe had his breakthrough in 2010 when he was invited to play alongside Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck. His career took off after winning the prestigious Night Museum DJ competition in France, where he had the privilege of warming up for the legendary Guy J (Lost & Found, Bedrock).

PatriZe’s commitment to refining his craft has earned him a reputation for seamless transitions, thoughtful track selection, and layered melodies with subtle tech influences. He now resides in Thailand, where he broadcasts his renowned Foundations and After Hours series, regularly featuring guest DJs on global radio platforms.

With his radio shows in both Europe and the USA, PatriZe is dedicated to growing the underground Progressive House movement. As an avid producer and founder of the label AH Digital, he continues to create, discover, and promote Progressive House music around the world.

For live performances, PatriZe can often be found playing at venues such as Beachspot (Jomtien Beach) and Thai Lounge & Terrace (Pattaya). He remains an active figure in the underground music scene in Pattaya, where his sets are eagerly anticipated by a loyal following.

Wherever he performs, the crowds are drawn to experience his captivating sets. In April 2015, PatriZe co-founded AH Digital with his long-time collaborator Hypnotised, marking the start of his successful production career.

The journey started well, with all of their 2015 releases reaching the Beatport Progressive House Top 100. Their debut EP, People from the Otherworld, soared to number 4 and also placed in the top 20 of the Techno and Tech House release charts.

It was an honour when the No. 1 selling artist Rui Da Silva remixed the title track of their popular EP. Today, based in Thailand, PatriZe regularly produces music and performs live. In addition to his show on Scientific Sound Asia, he frequently appears on other radio stations and continues to release tracks on various well-known labels, often achieving success in the Beatport charts.

This week's guest DJ for the second hour is Unusual Soul. An Argentinian DJ and producer from Tucumán, his primary genre is Progressive House, with occasional ventures into Organic House, Deep House, and Melodic House & Techno.

Having started his production career just two years ago, Unusual Soul already boasts releases on labels such as Droid9, BC2, Venture Records, and PatriZe's AH Digital Records. His key influences include artists such as CID Inc, Kasper Koman, and Dmitry Molosh, who are currently among his top favourites.

His productions showcase his deep passion for music, driven by a determination to pursue perfection. In the coming year, he aims to continue releasing original tracks and remixes, while also beginning to travel as a DJ.

In After Hours 555, we dive into the enthralling world of Progressive House with two hours of finely curated music. The first hour, mixed by PatriZe, features tracks from artists such as Michael A, Bondarev, and Rudra, creating a seamless blend of melodic and rhythmic elements.

The second hour, curated by Unusual Soul, continues the musical journey with selections from Leandro Jaime, Rodri Beltran, and Kamilo Sanclemente, providing an immersive and rich listening experience.
