Scientific Sound Asia is an online electronic music station, promoter, and DJ Agency in English, catering to the Asian region and beyond.

Joshua Mar, also known as DJ Joshua, is a music lover from Portugal, recognized for his deep love for music and extensive collection. Originally from Evora, Portugal, he focuses on electronic music, showcasing his diverse taste in genres such as House, Drum and Bass, Chill-out, and Techno.

With his weekly show 'Floating Beats,' he explores progressive and chill tunes, as well as melodic and Techno styles. In the second hour, he collaborates with another radio program called "Velvety Elements," focusing exclusively on the calming aspects of house music.

His music industry career began in the early 1990s when he ventured into DJing, experimenting with his first mixes and developing a keen interest in collecting vinyl records. Initially showcasing a variety of electronic music genres on local radio programs and organizing events with fellow enthusiasts, he gradually immersed himself in the world of music. Witnessing the growth of the rave culture in Portugal, he acknowledged the pivotal role of radio in connecting with a wider audience.

His deep affection for music was so intense that he decided to exit the music business upon the birth of his daughter. However, driven by his strong love for music, he launched a new radio show called "Floating Beats Sessions" a couple of years afterwards.

His podcast, Floating Beats, is broadcast on multiple radio stations globally. When talking about his show, he highlights that music is an art form that blends different elements to stir emotions and promote movement. The podcast provides a platform for listeners to immerse themselves in celestial melodies that will resonate with them. Enjoy the experience!

With a deep love for House music fueling him, DJ Joshua launched the "Velvety Elements" show as a tribute to the genre's rich emotional complexity. His popular podcasts explore the nuances of House music, earning acclaim on various international House and Techno radio stations, including ours.

Joshua delves into different sub-genres of House Music and Techno, such as Deep House, Tech House, Melodic House, Detroit Techno, Soulful House, Progressive House, Techno, Vocal House, and Melodic Techno during his routine broadcasts.
