Marco Mei celebrated DJ and member of the Italian duo Bicycle Corporation, is gearing up for another exciting show on our station. As a prominent DJ agency, promoter, and radio station, we proudly present this episode featuring Marco's eclectic mix.
Hailing from Turin, Italy, Marco Mei has been a prominent figure in the DJ scene for over thirty years. His early musical influences were shaped by Afrocentric sounds and the evolving electronic music landscape. Marco's journey began with crate digging in Turin's record shops and performing at early rave events.
His career took off with a residency at Pacha in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt, leading to global tours and performances at esteemed venues such as G-Star (Thailand), Fuse (Belgium), Room 18 (Taiwan), and Arcan (Vietnam). Marco has shared the stage with heavyweights including David Morales, Roger Sanchez, and Sander Kleinenberg.
In collaboration with Stefano Ugliano (a.k.a. 6884), Marco formed the duo Bicycle Corporation. Their prolific output includes over 50 original tracks and remixes, with releases on labels like 17:44 Records, Suka, and Alchemy. Their music spans genres from Deep and Tech House to French House and Techno.
Now based in Taipei, Taiwan, where he has resided since 2010, Marco continues to impact the Asian and Eastern European electronic music scenes. His weekly show features a diverse range of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno.
