Marco Mei has released his playlist for his next show this Saturday the 31st of August from 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and repeating Sunday from 2 to 4 PM (ICT). Scientific Sound Asia radio is the foremost underground electronic music station for Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and the rest of Asia.
With more than twenty-five years of experience, Marco is an Italian DJ and producer.
Having been influenced by the emergence of Afrobeat and electronic music during his upbringing, he embarked on his DJ career in the early '90s.
Over the years, he demonstrated his talents at various captivating festivals and nightclubs worldwide. He has performed alongside renowned DJs such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Justin Berkmann, Funk D’Void, and Sander Kleinenberg, among others.
In the 2000s, he secured a residency at Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt, which led to him embarking on a global DJ tour, performing at various Underground Nightclubs such as Arcan in Saigon, Fuse in Brussels, Room 18 in Taipei, Shore Club in Hoi An, Bangaluu in Berlin, G-Star in Pattaya, SOS Supper Club in Bali, and NLO in Minsk.
Marco teamed up with Stefano Ugliano (also known as 6884) in 2009, giving rise to the creation of "Bicycle Corporation." Over the subsequent years, they released more than fifty tracks and remixes spanning various genres like Deep and Tech-House, French House, and Techno.
Most of their songs have received airplay from DJs such as Sneak, Mauro Picotto, Dubfire, Axwell, Danny Tenaglia, and Above & Beyond. Marco is now located in Taiwan, showcasing his passion for his craft with skill.
His first major achievement with “Ciao Taipei” in 2013 marked a local breakthrough, enabling him to join a growing community of internationally acclaimed artists on Scientific Sound Asia radio.
His weekly show features a broad selection of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is available for further bookings through our DJ Agency.
