Marco Mei made his show playlist public for this Saturday. Scientific Sound Asia is the English language electronic music station, promoter, and DJ agency for India, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Sri Lanka and the rest of the Asian region.
Marco is a DJ and producer hailing from Turin, Italy with nearly three decades of experience. In his early teens, Marco became mesmerised with Afrobeat, Reggae, Funk, Disco and early Hip Hop music and with the birth of electronic music.
Roll on a few years and in the early nineties' he set off on his career as a disc jockey. In his developmental years as a disc jockey, he performed up and down the length of Italy.
At the beginning of the 2000s, he gained a residency in Sharm-El-Sheikh at Pacha Club, Egypt. His popularity grew and he set off across the globe spinning at some truly well-known Nightclubs.
These clubs include Observatory (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), CE' LA VI (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), Woobar (Bali), Global Dance Moscow and a fortitude of others. He has had the pleasure of sharing the decks with massive names such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon and Sander Kleinenberg.
Then with a friend Stefano Ugliano (aka 6884) a production duo was started in 2009 and Bicycle Corporation was born. Their combined skills in the studio led to a great number of releases and over 50 tracks and remixes have been released and have been well received in the House Music circuit.
Marco currently resides in Taipei, Taiwan where he immigrated at the beginning of the last decade and performs at clubs and venues across the Capital. His weekly show features a massive variation of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is available for international bookings through our DJ agency for Asian-based artists.
