Marco Mei of the Italian duo Bicycle Corporation is set to showcase his latest tracklist for his upcoming show. Scientific Sound Asia serves as a premier electronic music station, DJ agency, and promoter reaching audiences across Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Sri Lanka, and globally.
Originating from Turin, Italy, Marco Mei has been a prominent DJ for over thirty years. His early influences were shaped by Afrocentric music and the evolving landscape of electronic music.
Marco's formative years included crate digging in Turin's record shops and performing at early rave events. His efforts, alongside his peers, helped establish Urban People, a key player in Italy's emerging music scene.
Following a decade of event promotion, Marco secured a celebrated residency at Pacha in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt. His success led to global tours and performances with top artists such as David Morales, Justin Berkman, and Roger Sanchez.
After his residency, Marco teamed up with Stefano Ugliano (6884) to form Bicycle Corporation. Their collaborative work has produced over fifty original tracks and remixes, with releases through labels like 17:44 Records, Suka, Alchemy, and WL77 Groove Traxx. Their music spans genres from Deep House and Tech House to French House and Techno.
Currently based in Taipei, Taiwan, where he relocated in 2010, Marco continues to play regular events across the city. Before the lockdown, he frequently toured Asia and Eastern Europe, performing at various clubs and venues, including regular sets at Roots Taipei with Murphy Kin.
Marco’s weekly show features a diverse range of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is available for international bookings through our DJ agency for Asian-based artists.
