Marco Mei, renowned DJ and member of the Italian duo Bicycle Corporation, is set to showcase his latest mix on our station. As a leading DJ agency, promoter, and radio station serving the Asian electronic music community and beyond, we are excited to present this episode.
Marco Mei, hailing from Turin, Italy, brings over three decades of DJ experience to his craft. His early musical journey was influenced by Afrocentric rhythms and the evolution of electronic music. His formative years included crate digging in Turin's record shops and performing at early rave events.
After establishing himself with Urban People events in Italy, Marco gained significant recognition with a residency at Pacha in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt. His career flourished as he toured globally, performing at prestigious venues such as G-Star in Thailand, Fuse in Belgium, Room 18 in Taiwan, and Arcan in Vietnam. His impressive list of collaborators includes David Morales, Roger Sanchez, and Sander Kleinenberg.
Alongside Stefano Ugliano (a.k.a. 6884), Marco formed the Bicycle Corporation duo, which has released over 50 original tracks and remixes. Their work spans genres from Deep and Tech House to French House and Techno, with releases on labels like 17:44 Records, Suka, and Alchemy.
Now based in Taipei, Taiwan, where he has lived since 2010, Marco continues to perform regularly and has made a significant impact in the Asian and Eastern European electronic music scenes. His weekly show features a diverse mix of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno.
