Marco Mei has released his playlist for his next show. Scientific Sound Asia is the electronic music station, DJ agency, and event management company for Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and the rest of Asia.
Marco, an Italian DJ and producer, has over two decades of experience. He started his career as a DJ in the early 90s after being inspired by Afrobeat and electronic music.
In the years that followed, he honed his skills as a disc jockey at some of the most vibrant festivals and nightclubs worldwide, sharing the decks with artists such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry Choo Choo Romero, Justin Berkmann, and Funk D’Void, among others.
In the early 2000s, he secured a residency at Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh. Subsequently, he started touring the world as a DJ, performing at various underground nightclubs across Asia, including Arcan (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), Room 18 (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), SOS Supper Club (Bali), and NLO (Minsk).
In 2009, Marco joined forces with Stefano Ugliano (aka 6884), leading to the formation of Bicycle Corporation. As a duo, they have produced and released over fifty tracks and remixes spanning various genres, including Deep and Tech-House, French House, and Techno. Their music has received accolades and airplay from renowned DJs such as Sneak, Mauro Picotto, Dubfire, Axwell, Danny Tenaglia, and Above & Beyond.
Marco currently resides in Taiwan, where he showcases his artistic skill. His initial success with "Ciao Taipei" in 2013 was the local revelation, allowing him to become part of an expanding network of world-renowned artists on Scientific Sound Asia.
His weekly show features a broad selection of genres, including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno.
