Marco Mei has unveiled the playlist for his upcoming show. Scientific Sound Asia is an English-language electronic music station, DJ agency, and event management company catering to China, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, and other parts of Asia.
Marco is an Italian DJ and producer with over 25 years of experience. Spending his youth growing up with Afrobeat and with the birth of electronic music.
His career as a DJ began in the 1990s, and for more than twenty years, he has been spinning records at numerous festivals and clubs worldwide. He has shared the stage with renowned international DJs such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, and Sander Kleinenberg.
He secured a residency at the Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh at the start of the millennium. Subsequently, he embarked on a worldwide journey as a DJ and producer, performing at various renowned nightclubs such as Arcan (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), Room 18 (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), SOS Supper Club (Bali), and NLO (Minsk), among others, where he shared the stage with notable artists.
Stefano Ugliano and Marco Mei formed an ensemble known as Bicycle Corporation. Together, they have released over 50 tracks and remixes, earning recognition from a wide range of DJs.
Marco has established himself as a prominent figure in the vibrant music scene of Taipei, Taiwan. His presence is felt strongly as he dedicates the majority of his time to performing at various venues across the city. His passion for music shines through in every set he delivers, captivating audiences with his unique style and energy.
As an Asian-based DJ, Marco has become an integral part of the diverse community of DJs and producers on Scientific Sound Asia radio. His contributions have added a new dimension to the station, enriching the listening experience for fans and music enthusiasts alike.
