Marco Mei of Bicycle Corporation has made public his playlist for his next show. Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station for Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Sri Lanka and internationally.
Marco Mei originates from Turin, Italy and has performed as a disc jockey for over 30 years. As a youngster, Marco became enthralled with Afrocentric music and with the birth of electronic music.
He began gathering and collecting vinyl and with the birth of the rave scene in his home city started a brand named Urban People, putting on events all over Italy. As his name grew he started a residency at the renowned Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt and this propelled him further into the limelight.
Several years later he and a mutual friend Stefano Ugliano who goes by the moniker 6884 decided to combine their production abilities and formed a duo named Bicycle Corporation. As the duo combined their efforts in the studio they had a string of releases and to date have released well over 50 original works and remixes, and still counting.
Their first release as a duo was with 17:44 records and they have had further releases on labels such as Suka, Alchemy, WL77 Groove Traxx, and many more, across many genres from Deep and Tech-House to French House and Techno. Bicycle Corporation recently released a Peak Time Techno track 'Can You Even' on Our Musik Records on the 9th of October and it's in the Beatport Hype chart.
Marco has been very fortunate as a DJ and has toured the world, performing in countries across the globe at venues such as Fuse (Belgium), Room 18 (Taiwan), Bangaluu (Germany), G-Star (Thailand), SOS Supper Club (Indonesia), NLO (Belarus), Arcan (Vietnam) and many many more. He has graced the turntables at events internationally with heavyweights such as David Morales, Justin Berkman, Roger Sanchez, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry Romero, and Ralph Falcon to name a few.
These days Marco resides in Taipei, Taiwan where he migrated in 2010, playing regular events over the urban sprawl of the capital. Marco before the lockdown travelled extensively over the Asian and eastern European region performing at clubs and venues on a regular basis and is a regular artist on our radio station.
His weekly show features a broad selection of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is available for international bookings through our DJ Agency.
Listen live on Saturday the 2nd of March 2022 from 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and repeating Wednesday from 6 AM to 8 AM (ICT).
