Marco Mei has released his playlist for his next show. Scientific Sound Asia is the electronic music station Promoter, and DJ agency for Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and the rest of Asia with an international outreach.
With more than twenty years of experience, Marco is an Italian DJ and producer. He started his career as a DJ in the early 90s after being inspired by the emergence of Afrobeat and electronic music during his formative years.
In the years that followed practised his skills as a disc jockey at some of the most scintillating festivals and nightclubs around the globe sharing the decks with Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry Choo Choo Romero, Justin Berkmann and Funk D’Void, to name a few.
During the early 2000s, he expanded his career as a DJ and secured a residency at Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh. Subsequently, he embarked on global tours, performing at various underground nightclubs across Asia, including Arcan (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), Room 18 (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), SOS Supper Club (Bali), and NLO (Minsk).
In 2009, Marco Mei teamed up with Stefano Ugliano (also known as 6884), giving rise to the duo Bicycle Corporation. Together, they have produced more than fifty tracks and remixes, spanning various genres including Deep and Tech-House, French House, and Techno. Their music has garnered acclaim, featuring in the playlists of renowned DJs such as Sneak, Mauro Picotto, Dubfire, Axwell, Danny Tenaglia, and Above & Beyond.
Living in Taiwan, Marco showcases his passion for art through his exceptional skills. His first breakthrough with Ciao Taipei in 2013 was a significant local event, propelling him into a global network of renowned artists on Scientific Sound Asia.
His weekly show presents a diverse range of genres such as Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno.
